Consider Working With Us!

Teacher

If you are a passionate, caring, experienced educator, or if you are interested in applying for one of our non-certificated staff positions, we want to hear from you!

Ignite Centre for eLearning is currently accepting expressions of interest for the positions listed below. We welcome inquiries from educators of diverse backgrounds, particularly those with extensive experience in online learning and Indigenous education. Potential employees of our school must be innovative in their approaches to education, with a willingness to engage in new ways of teaching that are reflective of our school’s mission, vision, and values. Evidence-informed continuous improvement is at the heart of our work, with students at the centre of all we do – and why we do it.

We offer a competitive salary (aligned with large school board collective agreements), benefits package, and the ability to continue contributions to the Alberta Teachers’ Retirement Fund, with the flexibility of working remotely and with students directly in their local communities. We encourage all interested applicants to express an interest for positions with us. As we are focused on meeting the educational needs of Indigenous students, qualified Indigenous educators are highly encouraged to contact us.

Once our student enrolment numbers become clear, we will invite all those who have submitted an expression of interest to submit an application. Please email us at info@ignitecentre.ca if you are interested in applying on any of the positions below.

Thank you for expressing interest in joining the team at Ignite Centre for eLearning.
